Amanda Renz MBACP (Accred)

Counsellor

I am a Person Centred counsellor and a Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). I abide by the BACP Ethical guidelines.

I offer a safe and confidential space to talk – where I will listen to you without judgement in a valuing and accepting environment. It is an opportunity for us to build a relationship based on trust and I will support you.

Counselling is not about giving advice, it is us working together to find solutions to improve your emotional wellbeing and issues of life. I will work with you as a unique individual. I have worked with a diverse group of clients who have experienced a variety of issues, including anxiety, depression and coping with the challenges of everyday life. I have seen the great difference therapy has made to the lives and outlook of many clients.

Together we can explore some of your concerns to help you make sense of life’s difficulties and move forward. It is one-to-one to counselling. The number of sessions available is for us to agree on - you may opt to have a set number of sessions or work open ended.

Training, qualifications & experience :
Higher Professional Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling (Distinction)
Certificate in Bereavement Counselling - Cruse Bereavement Care
Certificate in Counselling Studies and Skills (CPCAB level 2 and 3)

My professional experience also includes bereavement counselling with Cruse and I have volunteered for a number of years in a charity which helps those suffering domestic violence.
