How I work
I am currently offering online and telephone support as well as face to face work

The Person-Centred approach

The benefits of counselling will increase your self-awareness and gain an understanding of how you cope and respond to the world around you. It can boost your trust and self compassion in yourself and diminish feelings of anger, guilt, insecurity, or defensiveness.

The Person Centred approach trusts in the natural ability of people to help and discover within themselves their own solutions to any personal difficulties. It is a compassionate approach that method that allows you to take the lead and gives you control over what is discussed in therapy.

Our time together

I offer both short and longer term therapy - the number of sessions comes down to your individual needs, so can vary widely.

I offer flexibility so you can just book a single session and decide afterwards whether you wish to have more. Sessions are usually on a weekly basis and will last for 50 minutes.

How will it help you?

Counselling provides a safe environment for you to explore your issues, helping you gain a greater understanding of them and of yourself. During this exploration, your increasing awareness can enable you to find ways to cope and to move forward, providing you with increased motivation and an improved sense of wellbeing.
